The Vision Behind Ortelius

Founders Jafar Bedja and Sylvain Naets shared the journey behind Ortelius:

Sylvain, an expert in logistics, co-founded Ortelius to address inefficiencies in space utilisation across the supply chain.

The name Ortelius is inspired by Abraham Ortelius, the renowned cartographer who created the first global map, symbolising global connectivity in logistics.

Launch and Expansion Plans

Following successful initial testing in Abu Dhabi, Ortelius was soft-launched at the World Port Conference in Hamburg. The platform aims to create a global logistics community, focusing initially on seaports, with plans to expand to inland ports and airports.
